Historyeye is a Dublin-based professional genealogy service headed by Denise Dowdall. Denise has a Diploma in Genealogy from the National University of Ireland, Dublin, where she studied under writer and historian, Sean J. Murphy MA.

Historyeye has many years of research experience in all major Irish archives, including the National Library of Ireland, the Dublin City Archives, the National Archives of Ireland, the General Registry Office, the Registry of Deeds, the Representative Church Body, the Valuation Office, the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland, the Military Archives, and numerous County Archives throughout Ireland.
